We value the part played by the children and young people in our Church life, and seek to involve them in worship and other church activities. Provision is accordingly made for children at all our services.
When Holy Communion is celebrated children and young people are encouraged to participate in the service. As Holy Communion is towards the end of worship the children and young people rejoin the congregation so they can participate in it.
All our Church volunteers are recruited according to the Westgate Church Safeguarding Policy procedures and practice. Current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) screening regulations are closely adhered to.
